-The Department of Computer Science discussed the tagged master's thesis Job Schcduling For Big Data Based On Swarm Algorthim Scheduling cloud tasks using multi-objective cuckoo research, by the student Sajjad Shamkhi Jaber, Computer Science/General, in the discussion room in the building of the Extension of the Department of Computer Science. The thesis aims to improve the use of cloud computing resources by suggesting approaches to deal with bot applications to identify tasks scheduling problems in a cloud environment. The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Ahmed Tariq Sadeq as chairperson, Prof. Dr. Esraa Tahsin Ali as a member, Prof. Mustafa Salam Kazem as a member, Prof. Yosra Hussein Ali as a member and supervisor, and Prof. Dr. Noha Jamil Ibrahim is a member and supervisor.

-The Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hussein Karim Hamid, inspected Wednesday 8/6/2022 the progress of the final exams for the second semester for students of preliminary studies in the Department of Computer Science. He was received by the Head of the Department of Computer Science, Prof. Dr. Alia Karim Abdel-Hassan, and the administrative assistant, Dr. Bashar Saadoun Mahdi. The mechanisms followed, the type of exam questions, their difficulty, and the plans in place during the examination period were reviewed. In conclusion, the assistant president of the university valued the efforts made by the department’s presidency and examination committees and providing all their needs, wishing everyone continued success and success.

-The Department of Computer Science discussed the master's thesis tagged Fraud Detection in E-commerce using Hybird Methods "Detecting Fraud in Electronic Commerce Using Hybrid Methods" by Master's Student Suha Mohsen Najm, Computer Science/General, in the discussion room in the annex building of the Department of Computer Science. The thesis aims to build an effective model as a machine learning system to distinguish between fraudulent and legal transactions in the field of electronic commerce. The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Abeer Tariq Mouloud as chairman, Prof. Khaled Shaker Jassem as a member, Dr. Khalil Ibrahim Ghathwan as a member, and Dr. Suhad Malallah Kazem as a member and supervisor.
