The Department of Computer Science discussed the tagged PhD thesis Multi Biometric System to Safe Access To Public and Private Buildings. A multi-biometric system for safe entry to private and public buildings. To a doctoral student (Shaimaa Muhammad Reda Abdullatif) in the discussion room in the building of the Department of Computer Science. The thesis aims to design and implement a proposed multi-biometric system using two sensors (visual and thermal) that have the ability to identify people and examine their health at the same time. The launch of the final exams for the first semester of the academic year 2021-2022 in the Department of Computer Science
The students of the Department of Computer Science at the University of Technology, together with all the students of the scientific and engineering departments at the university, took the final exams for the first semester of the academic year 2021-2022, under the direct supervision of the head of the department, Prof. Dr. Alia Karim Abdel-Hassan. The exams took place according to the university calendar, which set January 30 as the date for the start of the two-week exams.

Head of the Department of Computer Science chairs the delegation of the University of Technology in the presence of the panel discussion held by the Board of Commissioners of the Media and Communications Commission
On Sunday 01/30/2022, the Head of the Computer Science Department, Prof. Dr. Alia Karim Abdel-Hassan, headed the delegation of the University of Technology in the presence of the panel discussion held by the Council of Commissioners of the Media and Communications Commission and tagged "The Age of Information Technology... Characteristics and Effects" in order to prepare for a conference on information technology and its use. She was accompanied by the scientific assistant in the department, Dr. Noha Jamil Ibrahim, and in the presence of many personalities, professors, and academics with various specializations, for the purpose of sharing visions and special ideas for the conference scheduled to be held at the end of March. Several main themes were addressed, including digital transformation in Iraq, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.

The Department of Computer Science discussed the tagged master's thesis Improved Random Forest Algorthim Internet of Things Improved random forest algorithm for IoT intrusion detection Master's student (Adel Youssef Hussein) Computer Science / General in the discussion room in the building of the Department of Computer Science.
