The thesis aims to propose a new system for discovering the speaker’s gender and estimating his age for the interaction between humans and robots so as to fill the gap of selecting the optimal set of features by choosing a set of features that effectively treat the speaker’s gender and age estimation and at the same time reduce the response time to keep the robot’s reaction time as short as possible. On the sidelines of the Fourth International Conference on Creativity and Innovation, which was held by Gilgamesh University, professor Dr. Ahmed Tariq Sadiq was honored with the International Creativity Medal in appreciation of his scientific efforts in authoring three books in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning.

The head of the Department of Computer Science, Prof. Dr. Alia Karim Abdel-Hassan, held a meeting with the directors of divisions and units, in the presence of the Director of the Quality and Performance Evaluation Division in the department, teacher Nada Najil Kamal, on Tuesday 11/30/2021 in the discussion room in the Computer Science Department. At the beginning of the meeting, the head of the department welcomed the directors of the divisions and units, after which many axes of performance evaluation were discussed with regard to filling out the evaluation form, fixing the main data, emphasizing the importance of this form in promotions and entering the evaluation into the differentiation in all aspects of career life.
