-The Department of Computer Science discussed the Master's thesis tagged with "Suggesting an Image Encoding Approach on the Basis of Homogeneous Techniques and Elliptic Curve Cryptography" by Zainab Muhammed Aminif, Master's Student in Computer Science/Data Security, in the discussion room in the building of the Department of Computer Science. The message aims to protect images that contain important information by encrypting them by a symmetric cipher system and to improve symmetric algorithms in part by alpha-curve encryption to obtain high security in protecting images and reduce encryption time. As for the conclusions that were reached, it is to improve the beauty algorithm by using the algebra of the Alphabet Curve, where a two-dimensional mask of the encryption will be generated through the measures used. Encryption while preserving execution time. The discussion committee consisted of:

  • Prof. Dr. Maysa Abed Ali, President
  • Prof. Dr. Nada Hussein Mohamed Ali Member
  • Prof. Dr. Abeer Tariq, born a member
  • Prof. Dr. Hala Bahjat Abdel Wahab, member and supervisor
  • Prof. Dr. Abdel Mohsen Jaber Abdel Hussein, member and supervisor

-The Department of Computer Science awarded a master's degree for the thesis entitled "Using Multiple Chaotic Maps" to student Azhar Akram Abdullah, a master's degree in computer science/data security, in the discussion room in the annex building of the Department of Computer Science. The goal of the message is to build an encryption system that has the ability to encrypt color images and protect data from any unauthorized person by building two encryption systems. One of the conclusions that was reached is to obtain ideal results for the two systems used, and when comparing them, the first system was better than the second, so the first system can be used to encrypt sensitive images such as medical and military images, and the second to encrypt ordinary images. The discussion committee consisted of:

  • Prof. Dr. Firas Abdel Hamid, Chairman
  • A.M.D. Ikhlas Khalaf Kabashi is a member
  • Dr. Bashar Saadoun Mahdi, Member
  • Prof. Dr. Alaa Kazem Farhan, member and supervisor
