Very good results were obtained in generating facial movements and reproduce sound with high efficiency and record time. A coved19 prediction system based on tracking the location of the infected persons for the student, Safa Muhammad Musab, on the discussion hall in the building of the Computer Science Department.
The message aims to track the locations of people infected with coved 19 and predict the most endemic places of the epidemic, based on the statistical analysis of injuries. The research reached several conclusions, most notably that the system achieved high-accuracy results.

The students of the Department of Computer Science started the preliminary study with the final exams for the second semester of the academic year 2022-2023 on Sunday 28/5/2023, according to the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the directives of the Presidency of the University of Technology, where the head of the Computer Science Department, Professor Dr. Assistant Professor, Dr. Bashar Saadoun Mahdi, to review the course of the examination process in the department.
Where all the necessary requirements for the success of the exams were provided in order to enable the students to perform their exams without obstacles.

Distinguished female teachers and students from the Department of Computer Science participated with the Department of Communications Engineering and under the supervision of the Women’s Empowerment Unit at the University of Technology, representing the university, where the number of participating female teachers reached 9 female teachers and 24 female students from both departments in the annual celebration of International Girls’ Day in the field of communications and information technology and participated in the high-level dialogue session level, which was organized by the Media and Communications Authority in cooperation with the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) to empower girls in the communications and information technology sector at the Babylon Hotel (Gilgamesh Hall) on Sunday 5/7/2023 in the presence of the Minister of Communications, Dr. Hayam Al-Yasiri, and the President of the Media and Communications Authority, Dr. Faeq Nader, member of the Board of Commissioners, Dr. Hussein Flamers, Advisor to the Prime Minister and Director of the Leadership Initiative.
During the celebration, a presentation was made by the two companies, Atheer and Asiacell, regarding the way the two companies work, the achievements and the positions they have reached. A presentation by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research regarding girls' statistics, and a presentation by the Women's Empowerment Section in the Media and Communications Authority.
In conclusion, shields and gifts were distributed to the participants in the celebration.
Where Professor Dr. Shaima Hamid Shaker, Director of Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division, Teacher Nada Najil, Director of Scientific Affairs and Cultural Relations Division, Teacher Taiba Walaa El Din Khairy, and Director of the Media and Government Communication Unit Raghad Kamel Hamoudi were honored.

Within the annual curriculum of the Computer Science Department at the University of Technology, the Computer Science Department, Software Branch, organized a scientific visit to the Central Library on Monday 10/4/2023.
During which students were introduced to how to borrow books, search for electronic resources, and the mechanism for issuing a student ID for the library to borrow books and research to benefit from in their studies.

The Computer Science Department, in cooperation with the Women’s Empowerment Unit at the University of Technology, organized the cultural symposium tagged “The Concept of Liberation from a Woman’s Perspective” by Professor Bushra Abdul-Hussein Al-Ta’i from the University of Baghdad, Center for Psychological Research, on Wednesday 12/4/2023 in the discussion hall in the building of the Computer Science Department Under the supervision of the head of the department, Prof. Dr. Alia Karim Abdel Hassan, and in the presence of the scientific assistant, Assistant Prof. Dr. Noha Jamil Ibrahim, and a number of teachers and students.
The symposium dealt with the definition of the concept of freedom, which means liberation from the restrictions that shackle human energies and production, whether they are material or moral restrictions, as it means getting rid of slavery to a person or a group. As for liberation, it is the liberation of thought from the shackles of ignorance, and it is self-development and aspiration to new ideas.
The concept of women's emancipation differs from one woman to another according to thinking, social structure and culture
And the nature of customs, behavior and family upbringing.
Liberation is the liberation of the mind, and it must be within the customs and traditions.
In conclusion, the lecturer expressed her thanks and appreciation to the Department of Computer Science, represented by the head of the department, Prof. Dr. Alia Karim Abdel Hassan, for holding such seminars.
