The Assistant to the President of the University for Administrative Affairs at the University of Technology Inaugurates the Discussion Hall in the Annex Building of the Department of Computer Science After Its Rehabilitation

- The Assistant to the President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Farhad Mohammed Osman, inaugurated the discussion hall in the annex building of the Department of Computer Science today, Thursday, 2024/2/29, with the presence of the Head of the Department of Computer Science, Professor Dr. Alaa Kadhim Farhan, faculty members, and associates. The Head of the Department of Computer Science mentioned that this hall was rehabilitated with exceptional and self-driven efforts by the department's leadership and its associates to align with the scientific stature of our department and our beloved university. Assistant Professor Dr. Farhad Mohammed Osman, the Assistant to the President for Administrative Affairs, expressed his happiness, admiration, and praise for these efforts, offering his thanks and appreciation to all those involved in these fantastic achievements, especially the Head of the Department of Computer Science, for elevating the department's status on all levels. This hall includes modern devices and tools to serve as a center for holding conferences, seminars, and discussions. It's noteworthy that the Head of the Department of Computer Science launched a campaign aimed at rehabilitating the department's laboratories and opening the discussion hall. This inauguration is one of the sustainable development goals that the University of Technology strives to achieve, represented in quality education, innovation, infrastructure, and forging partnerships to achieve these goals. In conclusion, Professor Dr. Alaa Kadhim Farhan, the Head of the Department of Computer Science, presented a shield to Assistant Professor Dr. Farhad Mohammed Osman, the Assistant to the President for Administrative Affairs, on this occasion.
