The student Ahmed Oday Ezzat received his master's degree from the Department of Computer Sciences / University of Technology for his thesis titled "New Method for Protecting the Database Using Rhythm in Writing". The work in this thesis examines the name and password of the user to increase the application security. The cube key is one of the methods that use the key point randomly to create a new name for the user name that is connected with the time log when accessing the database. Methods of dynamic keystroke, as a biometric authentication method that does not require external devices and were famous techniques, which are certified using the analysis of its rhythmic typography. This way, the attack becomes less dangerous because the password in addition to the rhythm writing must match the storage of the key patterns. This was on Tuesday 27/3/2018 and on the discussion hall in the department. The discussion committee was composed of: Dr. Abdul Mohsen Jaber Abdul-Hussein and Dr. Alaa Kazem Farhan of the University of Technology / Computer Sciences Department And Dr. Sarab Majeed Humaid from Baghdad University / Faculty of Science / Department of Computer Science.

The student (Shahad Hisham Kamel) received her master's degree from the Department of Computer Sciences / University of Technology for her thesis (proposal of the structure of moving block cipher based on a secret map). In her thesis, Block Cipher is designed as a moving structure based on two of the proposed internal algorithms, Which created some additions to the LOKI97 standard algorithm as each internal algorithm is different from the other by its internal functions. The first proposed algorithm consists of the following functions: complementary DNA function, circular shift function, two layers of S-box, the animated flipping function and the Swap function.
The second proposed algorithm consists of the Shift function, the DNA add function, two layers of S-box, the flipping function of the LOKI97 standard. When the moving structure is executed, it will generate a secret key via the Logistic Map that is agreed between the sender and the recipient only. This key will change every time a new message is sent. While the message is divided into 128-bit clusters, one of the two internal proposed algorithms will be selected so that each block of the message is encrypted separately from the other blocks. The encryption process is based on the number generated from the logistics map that determines the route to be adopted by each Block to be encrypted.
It was on Sunday 25/3/2018 and on the discussion hall in the department. The discussion committee was composed of Dr. Soukaina Hassan Hashem and Dr. Yusra Hussein Ali from the University of Technology / Computer Sciences Department And (Dr. Sadeq Abdul Aziz Mahdi) from Al Mustansiriya University / Faculty of Education / Department of Computer Science.

The student (Hala Dhiaa' Hassan) received her master's degree from the Department of Computer Sciences / University of Technology for her thesis (Intelligent system for classification of the document based on it's contents) in her work she proposed a system to classify documents to the correct category based on their content and called " IDC "). The IDC system uses four types of pre-processing: Tokenization to separate each word from other words, Normalization to delete all non-words, Remove stop words to delete all non-important words and the porter algorithm to get the word root. The BoW model is used to extract features from documents and to use the weighting method to assign weight to each feature. This was on Monday, March 19, 2018, and on the discussion hall in the department. The discussion committee was composed of: Dr. Rahab Flieh Hassan and Dr. Esraa' Abdel Amir Abdul Jabbar from the University of Technology / Computer Sciences Department and (Dr. Haitham Abdul Latif Omar) from Al Salam University.
