A research paper by Professor Dr. Alaa Kadhem Farhan from the Computer Science Department at the University of
Technology was accepted in the Third International Conference on Engineering Technology and its Applications under
the sponsorship of IEEE, which is being held by the Islamic University in Najaf for the period (23-24) / August /
2020. The research is titled "A new mutual fund relying on chaos theory to encode images". The research aims to
design a new s-box, which in turn depends on chaos theories. The fact that this box has the power of nonlinearity
and it is very difficult to break it or find a numerical analysis for it. Therefore, if the power in forming
confusion would break the interconnection between the participants. And that it was used inside the color coding,
which diverged close color values, and the results of the coding were good and resisted most of the methods of
breaking and recovering the original image.

International certificate in a training course for a teacher from the Department of Computer Science
The lecturer, Dr. Mustafa Jasim Hadi, Head of the Artificial Intelligence Branch in the Computer Science Department
at the University of Technology, obtained an international certificate in e-learning after passing the professional
trainers training course that was established by the American IREX organization in cooperation with the Ministry of
Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministerial Team for e-learning. The certificate is characterized
by distinctive standards. It has fulfilled the requirements for e-learning because of its high efficiency in how
e-learning is managed. It should be noted that the course lasted for two months, in which more than a thousand
trainees from (79) governmental and private universities and colleges all over Iraq participated, as the course
included lectures on (concepts and methods of education, Google's G Suite for education package, and video
conference platforms / sharing services for communication. In the field of education).
