The workshop provided an explanation of the Millennium Fellowship Program, a grant offered by the United Nations specifically for undergraduate students who are not graduates, preferably from the early stages (first, second, and third years), and focuses on a main goal of the Sustainable Development Goals. The grant was launched for the first time in 2010. The idea of the grant is to form a group of students composed of 8 members who select a leader from among themselves, to be from the same university and from science and engineering disciplines, and are assigned to specific projects receiving video lectures guided by global experts. Applications for this grant are submitted through a special link. At the end of the workshop, the Administrative Assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Bashar Saadoun Mahdi, awarded a certificate of appreciation to the student lecturer in recognition of his efforts in delivering the lecture.
