Students of the Computer Science Department within the University of Technology team participated in the cybersecurity camp that was set up by the University of Technology and in cooperation with the Firewall Company for Information Security in the Kurdistan Region, which was hosted by Cihan University in Erbil, starting from 2/13/2023 for a period of six days. Seventy male and female trainees participated in the camp. Our students in this camp achieved remarkable success in the results of the final exams, as well as a great interaction with the camp’s scientific vocabulary, which contributes to the development of students’ technical skills in the field of cybersecurity within theoretical and practical lectures and entertainment programs. The University of Technology team was supervised by the Director of the Ibn Sina Division at the Information Technology Center, Dr. Uday Ali Ahmed. The presidency of Cihan University in Erbil praised the scientific level of our students, hoping that the days of the camp would be a reason to develop skills and rise to the highest levels of knowledge in service of our beloved country. In conclusion, gifts, certificates of appreciation and prizes were distributed to the participants.
