The student Najlaa' Abdul Hamza received her doctorate from the Department of Computer Sciences / University of Technology for her thesis entitled "3D Face Reconstruction Method for Unconstrained Images" This thesis focuses on reconstructing three-dimensional faces from a series of two-dimensional images, In the position, lighting or point of view and to obtain a precise three-dimensional model matches the two-dimensional characteristics, in this thesis was proposed a new way to reconstruct the three-dimensional faces by incorporating the reconstruction algorithm (reconstruction scattered) with a general model to get Intensive building (final three-dimensional model). We get the three-dimensional dots scattered from a series of faces using the improved motion structure algorithm. We obtain the intensive final reconstruction (the 3D model of the faces) by combining the scattered face points and the general model using the updated matching algorithm for the optimization process to reduce the difference between the input images and the resulting model.
